Location
Longueville is a suburb on the Lower North Shore of Sydney. It is eight kilometres north-west of Sydney’s CBD and is in the local government area of the Municipality of Lane Cove. Longueville is a small residential suburb on the banks of the Lane Cove River, wedged between Tambourine Bay and Woodford Bay. It is bordered by the suburbs of Northwood, Riverview and Lane Cove and is among the most expensive suburbs in Sydney.

Household Occupancy
The predominant age group in Longueville falls between 10-19 years. In relation to demographics, couples with children make up the largest group of residents, occupying 52% of households. Childless couples make up 26% of the population and single parents 11%. A healthy 54% of residents in Longueville own their homes outright, 35% are purchasers and only 7% are renting. Kingsford Smith Oval on the corner of Kenneth and Stuart Streets is a large sporting oval offering a large pavilion, cricket and soccer grounds, five tennis courts and a leash free exercise area for pets. There are a number of schools in the nearby suburbs of Lane Cove and Riverview including the prestigious St. Ignatius College Riverview.
Transport
Longueville Wharf provides access to the very popular ferry services on Lane Cove River Cruises. Three Sydney Buses Services run throughout Longueville, connecting to the Sydney CBD, Lane Cove and Chatswood. It is approximately a 25 minute road trip from Longueville to the Sydney CBD, easily accessible via Victoria Road and the Anzac Bridge or the Warringah Freeway and Sydney Harbour Bridge.
Restaurants, Accommodation, Amenities
Many locals flock to the nearby suburb of Lane Cove where a number a trendy cafes and restaurants line Longueville Road. Crust Gourmet Pizza Bar, La Zucca Italian Restaurant, Sushi Bar and Noodle King Thai Kitchen are among local favourites. The Longueville Hotel is another local hotspot boasting a bistro and four separate bars including Under Bar, which turns into a nightclub after dark. The large outside pergola is a popular spot for functions including birthdays and weddings receptions. The nearest accommodation can be found in Lane Cove. The Punthill North Shore is a contemporary, stylish hotel while the Comfort Inn is a more affordable, three-star option for families.
