Location
Waverton is a harbourside suburb on the Lower North Shore of Sydney.  It is only four kilometres north of Sydney’s CBD and is in the local government area of the Municipality of North Sydney.  Waverton offers stunning views of Sydney Harbour and is bordered by the cosmopolitan business district of North Sydney and the exclusive waterfront suburb of McMahon’s Point.  The suburb is only one square kilometre in area and extends down to a waterfront peninsula that separates Berry’s and Balls Head Bays.

Household Occupancy
The predominant age group in Waverton falls between 30-39 years.  In relation to demographics, single parents make up the largest group of residents, occupying 32% of households.  Childless couples make up 28% of the population, couples with children 17% and lone households 17%.  A healthy 43% of residents in Waverton are renting their homes, 34% own their homes outright and 21% are purchasers.  Those who are purchasing their homes would be paying more than $2,000 a month in mortgage repayments.  The majority of residents in Waverton are employed in professional occupations, earning salaries of greater than $103k per annum.

Transport
The Sydney CBD is easily accessible from Waverton by road and rail using the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge and Harbour Tunnel.  Waverton Railway Station is only a 15 minute journey from Central Station and is on the North Shore and Northern lines of the City Rail network.  Alternatively, the bus route 265 runs daily into the Sydney CBD via McMahons Point and North Sydney.  Services also run north to Lane Cove via Wollstonecraft, Crows Nest, St. Leonards and Greenwich.

Restaurants, Accommodation, Amenities
