Phil Mikhail is National Sales Director - Direct, responsible for scaling up the Sales and Distribution team and ensuring a customer-centric mindset within the organisation.
Phil has over 20 years of experience in the banking and finance industries, primarily in executive roles in home lending. After getting his start as a mobile banker working directly with customers, Phil started his leadership career as Regional Sales Manager, where he led the top performing team in the country. Most recently, he was Head of Mobile Banking NSW/ACT for the National Australia Bank where he oversaw a business unit of more than 100 employees, growing NAB’s market share in home lending.
At Mortgageport, Phil is responsible for setting the strategic direction for growth and customer acquisition and executing growth plans via the direct sales team.
Phil is driven by building high-performance teams and enabling those teams to deliver a world class experience for their customers.
Outside of the business, Phil enjoys vintage cars, rugby league, reading and working on his golf game. He also enjoys spending time with his friends, family and his bulldog Rosco.
